Banana flower cutlet
Cutlet is a very popular recipe. It is very tasty and can be prepared easily. We can make both vegetarian cutlets as well as non-vegetarian cutlets.

Ingredients
- Banana flower-1(chopped)
- Turmeric powder-1/4 tsp
- Salt-1/4 tsp
- Oil-3tbsp
- Mustard seeds-1tsp
- Onion-2(chopped)
- Green chilly-5(chopped)
- Ginger-garlic paste-3tbsp
- Coriander leaves-2tsp(chopped)
- Potato-3
- Carrot-1
- Egg-3
- Bread crumbs-3cup
- Oil-for deep fry
Method
- Cook and smash the potato and carrot.
- Remove the outer petals of banana flower.
- Chop the flower and cook it with turmeric powder and salt until done.
- Heat oil in a pan and splutter the mustard seeds,add the ingredients from 6 to 9 in order which is given.
- Fry it until the raw smell disappears.
- Now add mashed potato,carrot,cooked banana flower and salt,mix them well.
- Remove it from fire when it get dry.
- Allow it to cool and make the patties.
- Dip it in beaten egg and cover it with bread crumbs.
- Deep fry it in oil.
- Serve it hot with chutney or ketchup
