Banana flower cutlet
Cutlet is a very popular recipe. It is very tasty and can be prepared easily. We can make both vegetarian cutlets as well as non-vegetarian cutlets.

Ingredients
  1. Banana flower-1(chopped)
  2. Turmeric powder-1/4 tsp
  3. Salt-1/4 tsp
  4. Oil-3tbsp
  5. Mustard seeds-1tsp
  6. Onion-2(chopped)
  7. Green chilly-5(chopped)
  8. Ginger-garlic paste-3tbsp
  9. Coriander leaves-2tsp(chopped)
  10. Potato-3
  11. Carrot-1
  12. Egg-3
  13. Bread crumbs-3cup
  14. Oil-for deep fry

Method
  • Cook and smash the potato and carrot.
  • Remove the outer petals of banana flower.
  • Chop the flower and cook it with turmeric powder and salt until done.
  • Heat oil in a pan and splutter the mustard seeds,add the ingredients from 6 to 9 in order which is given.
  • Fry it until the raw smell disappears.
  • Now add mashed potato,carrot,cooked banana flower and salt,mix them well.
  • Remove it from fire when it get dry.
  • Allow it to cool and make the patties.
  • Dip it in beaten egg and cover it with bread crumbs.
  • Deep fry it in oil.
  • Serve it hot with chutney or ketchup
