Chana Dal Vada which is popularly known as Parippu vada in Kerala is a tasty snack made of Channa dal/thuvar dal.Here is how we can prepare the Paripu vada easily.

Ingredients
- Toor dal-3cup
- Ginger-1piece(chopped)
- Green chilly-3 to 4(chopped)
- Curry leaves -5sprig(chopped)
- Small onion-15 nos(sliced)
- salt-as required
- Oil-for deep fry
Method
- Soak the dal for 2 to 4 hrs and drain properly(otherwise vada will break apart)
- Grind it to paste and mix it with all other ingredients in a large bowl.
- Take a hand full of mixture and make the patties.
- Deep fry it until golden brown colour.
- Serve it as a tea time snack.
