Chana Dal Vada - Easy kerala parippu vada
Chana Dal Vada which is popularly known as Parippu vada in Kerala is a tasty snack made of Channa dal/thuvar dal.Here is how we can prepare the Paripu vada easily.

Ingredients
  • Toor  dal-3cup
  • Ginger-1piece(chopped)
  • Green chilly-3 to 4(chopped)
  • Curry leaves -5sprig(chopped)
  • Small onion-15 nos(sliced)
  • salt-as required
  • Oil-for deep fry

Method

  • Soak the dal for 2 to 4 hrs and drain properly(otherwise vada will break apart)
  • Grind it to paste and mix it with all other ingredients in a large bowl.
  • Take a hand full of mixture and make the patties.
  • Deep fry it until golden brown colour.
  • Serve it as a tea  time snack.
