Chilli bhaji / Chilli Bhajji

Bhajji has now become popular to eat alone as a snack.Chilli bhajji are more popular in South India. Onion Bhajji is more popular in North India.They usually served with a side of salad and slice of lemon, or with chutney .

Here is the recipe to prepare Chilli Bhajji.
Ingredients

  1. Light green chilly-5nos
  2. Besan(gram flour)-1cup
  3. Chilly powder-1/2 tsp
  4. Asafoetida-1/4 tsp
  5. Salt-as required
  6. Tamarind juice -1cup
  7. Oil-for deep fry
Method
  • Mix the ingredients from 2 to 5 in water as a smooth paste.
  • Make small split in the chilly and dip it in the tamarind juice,later in the prepared batter.
  • Fry them in oil until golden brown.
  • Enjoy it with tomato ketchup.
