Rava ladoo

Rava Ladoo also known as Rava laddu or  Semolina Balls is an Indian sweet.It is made out of flour and a variety of other ingredients formed into balls. It is prepared during festivals or events such as weddings or given as a prasad at Hindu Temples. 
Here is the recipe to prepare Rava Laddu.

Ingredients

  • Rava(fine sooji)-1cup
  • Sugar-1cup
  • Ghee-3tbsp
  • Warm milk-25 ml
  • Cardamom powder-a pinch
  • Cashew nuts-2 tbsp
  • Raisins-2tbsp
Method

  • Heat ghee in a pan and fry the cashews and raisins,keep them aside.
  • Fry the sooji in same ghee till the aroma exudes.
  • In a bowl mix the roasted rava,fried cashews,raisins,cardamom and sugar,mix well.
  • Now slowly add the milk and make sure that able to gather as balls.
  • Before the whole mass get too cool, shape into balls.
  • Allow it to  cool and consume within a  week.
