Chicken manchurian recipe
Chicken Manchurian is a tasty Chinese cuisine.Manchurian can be prepared using either chicken, prawns or beef. The corresponding vegetarian dish Gobi Manchurian  is also a very popular dish combining scallion, ginger, hot pepper, soy sauce, together with cauliflower.

Ingredients

  • Boneless chicken-500 gm
  • Oil-for deep fry
  • Black pepper powder-1/4 tsp
  • Capsicum(chopped)-4 tbsp
  • Sugar-1/2 tsp
  • Garlic(chopped)-2 tbsp
  • Ginger(chopped)-2 tbsp
  • Corn flour-4 tbsp
  • Chicken stock-1 cup
  • Beaten egg-1 no
  • All purpose flour-2 tbsp
  • Ajinomotto-1/4 tsp
  • Soy sauce-1 tbsp
  • Coriander leaves-a few
  • Salt to taste

Method
  • Cut the chicken into 1 inch sized cubes.
  • Mix the corn flour,all purpose flour,salt and pepper powder in beaten egg and stir well.
  • Dip the chicken pieces in this batter and deep fry until golden brown.
  • Heat 2 tbsp oil in a pan(for manchurian sauce) and fry ginger and garlic.
  • When it colour changed add capsicum and 1tbsp coriander leaves(chopped).
  • After 1 minute add chicken stock,sugar,soy sauce,pepper and ajinomotto.
  • When it start to  boil add corn flour(dissolved in water) and boil it another few second.
  • Add fried chicken and cook it for few seconds.
  • Garnish it with coriander leaves and serve.
