Masala puri recipe
Masala puri is perhaps one among the top ten Indian Snack. Masala Puri is one of the most popular fast food dish across India.It is easy to prepare.
Here is the recipe to prepare Masala Puri.
Ingredients
- Sev-1cup
- Papadi puri-10nos
- Cooked green peas-2cup
- Coriander leaves-1/4 cup
- Green chilly-1 or 2
- Vegetable oil-1tbsp
- Garam masala-1tsp
- Chilly powder-1tsp
- Salt-as required
- Roasted cumin powder-1/2 tsp
- Black pepper powder-1/2tsp
- Chat masala-1tbsp
- Sweet tamarind chutney-3 tbsp
- Curd(or yogurt)-1/4 cup
- Onion (chopped)-1
- Carrot(chopped)-1
Method
- Grind 1 cup of green peas in water with 2 tbsp coriander leaves and green chilly.
- Heat oil in a kadai and bring to boil this fine paste with the ingredients 7 to11(5 minutes).
- Add extra water if it is needed and adjust the consistency to medium thick .
- Remove it from heat.
- Break the pappadi puri(4to6) to a serving plate.
- Add prepared green peas paste,green peas,sweet chutney,chat masala,yogurt,finely chopped tomato and onion.
- Sprinkle the sev all over it and top with coriander leaves.
- Serve it immediately.
