Pepper Rasam
  Pepper rasam is a spicy recipe and it is considered to be good for health. It may work as a good appetizer.It is a very famous south Indian dish usually taken with cooked rice.

Ingredients

  1. Toor dhal- 1tsp
  2. Pepper corns- 1tsp
  3. cumin seeds-1tsp
  4. Tomato- 1
  5. Tamarind paste- 2 tbsp
  6. Garlic 2 pods
  7. Hing-1/4 tsp
  8. Curry leaves 4-5
  9. Cilantro 2tsp
  10. Oil-2 tbsp
  11. Mustard 1tsp
  12. Cumin seeds-1/2 tsp
  13. Dry red chillies-2nos
  14. Salt to taste

Preparation

Grind the ingredients from 1 to 3.
Cut the tomatoes and garlic, and make a paste.
Add 1 cup of water,tamarind extract,grinded items,asafoetida,curry leaves and salt to it.
Cook them till the form appears(don't boil it).
Seasoning with the  ingredients from 10 to 13.
Garnish the rasam with coriander leaves.
Serve it hot with rice.
