Ingrediants:
Rava- 1 cup
Finely chopped green chillies- 2
Ginger(finely chopped)- 1/2 tea spoon
Dry red chillies-2or 3 nos
Channa Dal-1 tea spoon
Grated carrot-1/2cup
Mustard seeds- 1/2 tea spoon
Soda 1/4 tea spoon
Cashews -1 tbl spoon (optional)
Coriander leaves- 2-3 strands
Yogurt or curd- 2 cup
Oil: 1-2 tbl spoon
Salt to taste

Soda 1/4 tea spoon

Oil: 1-2 tbl spoon
Salt to taste
Steps
- Soak the rava for 10 minutes in 1/2 cup of water.
- Heat oil in a pan and splutter the mustard seeds and channa dhal.
- Add the ingredients from 2to 4.
- Mix the rava and curd together.
- Add the prepared seasoning to it.
- Add the carrot,soda,salt and coriander leaves.
- Stir it well and keep aside for 30 minutes.
- Cook the rava idly as you prepare the plain idly.
- Keep one cashew at center of each cup.
- Serve it hot
