Ingredients
- Idli rice-4cup
- Urad dhal-2cup
- Cooked rice-1/2cup
- Salt to taste
Steps
- Wash and soak the rice and urad dhal for 6 to 8 hours.
- Grind the above ingredients coarsely in a blender.
- Keep aside for 8 hours or until it get fermented.
- Add required salt just before cooking.
- Grease the idle holder and fill each of them with 3/4th full of batter.
- Cook this about 10 minutes or until done.
- Use a butter knife or spoon to remove the idli.
- Serve it with chutney or sambar.
