Pazha Pradhaman ( Pazhaprathaman) is one of the must recipe for onasadya.
How to prepare:
Ingredients

- Banana(nentra kaya)-1/2 kg
- Jaggery-1/2 kg
- Ghee-1/2 cup
- Coconut(grated)-2nos
- Cardamom(powder)-1tsp
- Dry ginger powder-1/2 tsp
- cashew nuts-50gm
- kismis-50gm
- coconut(thin slices-for frying)-3tbsp
Preparation steps:
- Cook the banana by steaming it and smash it well.
- Heat 1 cup of water and add jaggery in it.Heat it till jaggery melts completely
- Squeeze the grated coconut and take 1 cup of thick first milk and 3 cups of second milk.
- Heat the ghee in a cooking pan, add the smashed banana and fry it for few minutes.
- Then mix it with the liquid jaggery and stir it well for further 4 minutes.
- Add the second coconut milk to this mixture.
- When its get thickened add cardamom and dry ginger powder to it.
- Then mix it with the first coconut milk and cook it for few minutes.
- Add fried cashew nuts,kismis and coconut pieces into this Pradhaman.
