Ingredients:
- Boneless Chicken-1/2 kg
- Peanut Oil-3tbsp
- Onion (chopped)-1 (big)
- Butter-3tbsp
- Lemon Juice-1tbsp
- Ginger-Garlic Paste-1tbsp
- Garam Masala-2tsp
- Chili Powder-1 tsp
- Cumin seeds(powder) -1tsp
- Bay Leaf-2 nos
- Tomato Puree-1cup
- Yoghurt-1/2 cup
- Cream-4 tbsp
- Black Pepper-1/2 tsp
- cayenne Pepper-1tsp
- salt-as required
- Cornflour-1tbsp
Preperation
- Heat 2 tbsp peanut oil in a frying pan and fry the onion.
- When it becomes soft add the ingrediants from 4to 6,stir it well for few seconds.
- Add garam masala (1 tsp), chili powder, cumin powder and bay leaf into the saucepan and Stir it for about 1 minute.
- After that add tomato puree to this and Cook it for 2 minutes while stirring continuosly.
- Add cream and yoghurt into this pan and mix it well.
- Cook this for 8 to 10 minutes in low flame.
- Add salt, black pepper and cayenne pepper into the mixture and remove the pan from heat.
- Heat oil in an another heavy frying pan.
- Cook the small chicken pieces until it gets slightly brown.
- Season the chicken with garam masala and cayenne pepper.
- Add 1/2 cup of already prepared gravy to this chicken and cook it for 5 minutes.
- Now add the rest of the gravy and cornflour which is dissoled in the water.
- Cook this until its get thickened(7to 10 minutes).
- Delicious and very richy butter chicken is ready.
